A good floor with a high quality finish can make all the difference in a development or your own home. If you are going to spend money on anything make it your floor, after all you will be using it frequently and a quality floor will last longer and age better than a laminate floor. In this article I am going to show you a couple of my favourite floors.

Solid Oak Floor
oak flooringI like this shade very much I feel it gives a house a sophistication and depth that beach just can’t compete with. I wouldn’t recommend using this floor if you have dark walls or in a room with little natural light. This floor is better in larger rooms with big windows and light walls.

My next favourite is a bit unconventional in the flooring sense and is something you would probably associate with a gym. But I’m going to throw it at you nonetheless,

Its rubber flooring, yep rubber flooring. Take a look at the picture below.

I got the picture from a site called the rubber flooring company, which sells all kinds of studded and non studded rubber floors these look especially good in kitchens and bathrooms and comes in all kinds of colours. If you want to buy some rubber flooring you can expect to pay about £35 per sq metre for a sheet and £45 for tiles. It slightly more expensive but if you want to stand out from the crowd and be a little bit different, this type of flooring will suit you.

Aged Oak Laminate
This is easily affordable at £7 per square meter and because it’s an easy click in go type of flooring you can have it and looking good in no time at all. aged oak laminate
